The Central Regional Chairman for Akuffo Addos Government Advocate (AAGA) Dr. Michael Kojo Kyeremateng has jumped to the defence of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo after the backlash for allegedly insulting the Paramount Chief for Aflao Traditional Area, Torgbui Amenya Fiti V. The President replying a question during an interview on Peace FM recently said the Chief of Aflao has no right to give an ultimatum to the Minister of Education to complete a stalled project in his jurisdiction. This was after the Aflao Chief was said to have given the Minister an ultimatum to complete the abandoned E-block in his area before February 2022. “Many of the E-blocks are being worked on across the country. Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah popularly known as Shatta Wale and his three accomplices have been granted bail by an Accra Circuit Court. They were granted bail to the tune of GH¢100,000 each on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. While Shatta Wale was given a self recognizance bail, his accomplices had one surety each. Wale was arrested last week for claiming he had been shot, but the story turned to be a hoax. His accomplices were also arrested. They were denied bail last week and spent a week in prison custody. Shatta Wale made reference to a prophecy that was made by Bishop Stephen Kwesi Appiah of New Life Kingdom Chapel that he would be shot dead on October 18, 2021.

 A group calling itself Akufo-Addo Government Advocate (AAGA) has reacted to President Nana Akufo-Addo’s apology to indigenes of Cape Coast after claiming he never promised to build a harbour in the town in the run-up to the 2020 elections.  Akufo-Addo’s Government Advocate (AAGA), A Youth group under the governing NPP has called for support to help the youth of the country veer into entrepreneurship instead of relying on government for employment opportunities. According to the Chairman of the Central Regional Chapter, Dr. Michael Kyerematen, the clarion call was influenced by the economic challenges the nation is beset with, which Minister for Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta, raised at a graduation ceremony of the University of Professional Studies. According to Mr. Ofori-Atta, 60% of Ghana’s revenues is used in “remunerating some 650,000 people” a situation he described as unsuitable.
