 Take opportunities in Entrepreneurship Programs: Dr. Kyeremateng tells Ghanaian Youth

The National Secretary for the National Projects Advocacy Group of the Ministry of Information, Dr Micheal Kyeremateng, has urged the youth to persist in their entrepreneurial dreams. According to him, the rising rate of unemployment in the country is a cause of worry owing to the fact that “90% of our youth depend on employment by state and private institutions for survival rather than being self employed”. He believes that the phenomenon though is helpful in the short term, would in the long term negatively impact the economy. Thus the need for the youth to be innovative and persist in their business pursuits to drive the economy forward. Dr Kyeremateng made this observation when he addressed some National Service Personnel during their end of service dinner in the Central Region under the theme “Entrepreneurship The Key to Sustainable Development”.  The Chief of the Koforidua Asokore, Nana Antwi Panyin II, on Thursday, August 4, 2022 announced Paulina Akosua Nyarkoa as Nana Apesemaka Hene I for Koforidua Asokore.  The short but memorable ceremony which took place in Koforidua Asokore was graced by members of the Gyaase family, some heads of security institutions, residents of Koforidua Asokore, and well-wishers. According to the Chief, the stool name for the new Apesemaka Hene is Nana Apesemaka Hene I.  Born in Aburi Pokrom, the 71-year-old is known in private life as Mrs. Paulina Akosua Nyarkoa. She was married to late Mr. Ebenezer Kwaku Andoh, a native of Takoradi Edna, with whom she they had 10children; 5 girls, and 5 boys. She was born to the late Opanin Kwame Opare and Abrewa Yaa Akor respectively. Paulina Akosua Nyarkoa, the new Apesemaka Hene I of Koforidua Asokore, is a businesswoman.
